My name is Iuri Maia Azeredo, I am 50 years old and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I have always lived at the intersection between science, technology and a deep curiosity about how the world really works. 🌍⚛️

🎓 Academic Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) and a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from UERJ (State University of Rio de Janeiro).

This unusual combination – life sciences and computer science – shaped the way I think: analytical, experimental and always searching for patterns. 🔬💻

💼 30+ Years as an Analyst Programmer

I have worked for over 30 years as an analyst programmer, building systems, solving complex technical problems and helping companies transform ideas into working software.

During these decades, I saw technology evolve from simple desktop applications to distributed systems, cloud computing and, more recently, the rise of quantum computing and AI. 🚀

❤️ Passion for Science, Technology and Innovation

I have always been passionate about science and technology.
From physics and biology to cryptography and operating systems, my curiosity pushed me to experiment, learn and create.

For me, technology is not just a career – it is a way of thinking and a way of contributing something meaningful to the world. 🌌

⚛️ The PostQuantumApps Project

My most recent venture is PostQuantumApps.com – a project focused on creating post-quantum tools to protect data in the new era of quantum computing.

As quantum machines evolve, many traditional cryptographic methods will become vulnerable. I believe we must act before that moment arrives, not after. ⏳

PostQuantumApps is my way of turning this concern into practical software:

  • 🧩 CLI tools for file protection, encryption and secure compression

  • 🛡️ Focus on post-quantum cryptographic schemes

  • 🖥️ Designed for real users, not just academic theory

🎯 Mission

My mission with PostQuantumApps is simple and ambitious:

  • 🔐 Help people protect their data before the “crypto apocalypse” arrives

  • 📚 Make complex post-quantum concepts more accessible to non-experts

  • 🧪 Create practical tools that anyone can actually use today

  • 🌐 Build a small but strong community that cares about future-proof security

💡 Inspiration

The inspiration behind this project comes from a mix of:

  • 📖 Years of reading about quantum computing and cryptography

  • ⚠️ The real risk that many current systems will one day be easily broken by quantum attacks

  • 🛠️ The desire to build tools that are independent, transparent and focused on the user

I believe that individuals, not only big corporations and governments, should have access to strong, modern protection for their files and communications.

🚀 Looking Forward

PostQuantumApps is still growing, evolving and improving.
New ideas, new tools and new protections are on the way.

My goal is to keep refining these apps so that, when quantum threats become mainstream news, you are already prepared. 🔐⚛️

If you use the tools, support the project or simply share the website with others, you are already part of this journey.

Thank you for being here. 🙏
